The Story of Guidance

As a mental health professional, who works in the field alongside the Hillsborough County Public Schools I have seen the drastic need for mental health services within our youth. The issues they face are nothing short of urgent and we forget aside from their parents another set of individuals help guide them on their journey of growth and development.

Teachers are more than deserving of their diligence and efforts to ensure that students learn and prosper in their educational and life endeavors. I often reflect on my years in grade school and think of various teachers whose efforts to motivate me helped me become the person I am today.

With that being said, I would just like to thank every teacher no matter the grade level or even the subject for your continuous work ethic and care poured into these students. You all are molding the future generations of workers, thinkers, and innovators and for that, an act of appreciation is nothing but a small token of what you all truly deserve!
