It is May 2022 also known as mental health awareness month, where mental health is highlighted for an entire month. Mental health, since 1949 in the United States was observed via the media, local events, and identification of the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of a person.

Mental health affects how people think, feel, and act which is nothing short of importance especially considering the nature of human beings. Its importance is carried across every stage of life, from as early as childhood to late adulthood.

Understanding how effective mental health can help the world determine how people handle stress, relate to others, and even make choices. It is with this information that I urge you all to check in on those around you, ask the important questions, and gauge how they are operating mentally not just in May but every day moving forward.
