Acknowledge your feelings and analyze your thoughts, be sure to ask those important questions. Are they helpful, or do they add to your feelings of sadness and depression?



The relationship between your body and thinking is important. The thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and attitudes have positive and negative effects on you physically as well.

Make sure your self-talk is kind. Be real with yourself, but find a way to be kind also. Reassure yourself that whatever you are going through is temporary and won't last forever.



As I reflected on what being nice to yourself does, I became aware that it impacts your judgment. Through motivating your mind to live life knowing that only you determine what holds you back no matter the level of adversity.
